Designer
Manali Jagtap showcased her bridal apparel line at the Pink city,
Jaipr with the very gorgeous Manjari Phadnis walked the ramp as a
show stopper. Manali, who has chosen to deck up the modern Indian
bride in a vintage look with her latest collection, showcased outfits
that could be worn in each and every function of the wedding—right
from Sangeet, Mehendi and cocktail to reception.
The
Fashion show was held at pink city, Jaipur exhibiting her bridal
collection inspiration from the city. Red has been dominating
bridal fashion for centuries but the designer has used shades of
pink, golden, maroon, orange, green and blue, to make it more varied.
Enhancing the high-end fashion event, Manjari Phadnis graced the
event as she walked as a showstopper for Jagtap. She donned a heavy
lehenga choli with the former made of velvet. There were heavy golden
embellishments on the lehenga, which was teamed up with a simple
choli. The dress looked perfect for the modern Indian bride.

Omanakuttan, Prachi Mishra and many others also grazing the ramp.
Talking
about the collection Manali says, “Indian Weddings being larger
than life affairs where the bride and the groom dress up like’s
royals to get married & devote their lives to each other. Indians
love tradition, but these days’ brides want a contemporary styling
to their look also. When it comes to Indian Bridal-wear, there many
rules are not that one needs to follow. Your family jewels and
outfits are the best thing that you can get your hands on for your
big day. Vintage speaks volumes about your heritage and a beautiful
way to let people know about your legacy”.
Lovely! :)
